Dojo means a facility or a place that provids for training in
Karate. A Dojo provides a positive atmosphere for Karate training. It is also the place that you meet your brothers and sisters (in Karate-do).
Honbu means headquarters. Therefore, "Honbu
Dojo" means the main facility or a place where the Chief Instructor teaches. Shibu Dojo means a school or a place that is affiliated with the Honbu Dojo.
